Noodle factory in Kuala Ketil razed

ALOR SETAR: A vermicelli factory near the industrial area in Kuala Ketil here was razed early this morning.

Kedah Fire and Rescue Department Zone 3 chief, Senior Fire Superintendent II Mohd Rahimi Ali said they received a call about the blaze at 3.26 am.

“A team of personnel and fire engines from the Baling, Sungai Petani, Amanjaya, Kulim Hitech and Yan fire stations were dispatched to the scene,” he said in a statement today.

He added no one was injured in the blaze, which was fully extinguished at 5.20 am by a team of 40 firefighters, who were assisted by a nearby team of volunteer firefighters. – Bernama
