PUTRAJAYA: The Palestian Solidarity Programme organised by Communications and Digital Ministry (KKD) branch of the Association of Wives and Women Members of the Malaysian Civil Service (Puspanita) is a manifestation of KKD staff’s support for the struggle of the Palestians.
KKD secretary-general Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa (pix) who is also the branch’s advisor is proud of organising the programme for the first time and he hopes the initiative will be an example to other agencies.
“Congratulations to the KKD Puspanita branch (PCKKD) over holding the programme for the first time. I am really impressed with effort and concern of Puspanita members on the initiative.
“We may not be carrying arms but the impact of a show of support may contribute to changing something,” he said when speaking at the programme here today.
Also present was PCKKD chairman, Datin Nik Noralhuda Nik Mohamed.
Mohamad Fauzi said KKD will continue to state its solidarity and pray for the well-being of the Palestinians.
