Seremban City Council to implement cashless parking, scratch coupons to be terminated

SEREMBAN: The use of parking coupons in Seremban and Nilai will be terminated effective Jan 1, next year.

However, existing coupons purchased by the public can still be used until their expiry date, which is Dec 31, 2024.

According to a statement posted on Seremban City Council’s Facebook page, they will be transitioning to digital services, specifically cashless payments through online services.

“Through the implementation of parking payments in this area, the Seremban City Council hopes for better and more organised use of parking spaces.”

The council will also start charging motorists for parking in several areas from May 2 onwards.
