KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin (pix) will be replacing Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff as Lembaga Tabung Haji’s (TH) group managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) effective May 6.
Amrin, who has more than 30 years of experience in the corporate sector, is currently the CEO of the Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT).
In a statement today, TH said that Mohd Hasyudeen would be stepping down on May 5 after being at the helm since Sept 1, 2019.
“The appointment has been agreed by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri,” said the pilgrims fund board.
Amrin began his career in banking before holding several senior positions in companies such as Renong Bhd, Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd and Putera Capital Bhd.
TH currently has about nine million depositors with total funds of almost RM80 billion.- Bernama
