State leaders across Malaysia hope Aidilfitri will strengthen family bonds, foster community love, and enhance national unity through forgiveness and shared celebration.
KUALA LUMPUR: State leaders across Malaysia have expressed hope that Aidilfitri celebrations will serve as a meaningful platform to strengthen kinship and foster a spirit of togetherness.
Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the festive day offers Muslims a chance to deepen relationships and seek forgiveness. “Maaf zahir dan batin from me and my family,” he said in a Facebook post.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail called on people to rekindle the spirit of love within the community. He also prayed for the continued peace and prosperity of Pahang’s residents.
Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said Syawal reminds Muslims to strengthen bonds and not let disagreements strain relationships. He hoped all good deeds from Ramadan would be accepted.
Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar urged people to enhance community well-being during the celebrations. He emphasised that Malaysia’s diverse culture and religion must be preserved for stability.
Ahmad Samsuri added that a state’s progress is measured by the strength of its values and the unity of its people. He believes this is as important as physical or economic development.
