Anwar vows to boost dakwah, welfare and women’s empowerment

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim commits to a wisdom-based dakwah agenda, enhanced public welfare and women’s empowerment as key pillars of national development.

KUALA LUMPUR: The government is committed to strengthening a wisdom-based dakwah agenda.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this is part of efforts to reinforce human capital development and societal well-being.

He said the matter was discussed during a courtesy call from Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Marhamah Rosli.

The discussion also covered strategic matters needing more structured and effective implementation.

“This discussion focused on the MADANI Government’s commitment to empowering a da’wah agenda rooted in wisdom,” Anwar said in a Facebook post.

He said it also covered strengthening the welfare of the people and enhancing the empowerment of women.

Anwar said the government would ensure every effort is carried out with seriousness and policy alignment.

He added it requires the courage to make improvements to guarantee the people’s well-being.

The goal is to build a more just and humane future for the nation.
