MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Perak, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur until 9 pm tonight.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a severe weather warning for several states. The alert covers thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Perak, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur until 9 pm.

In Perak, the affected districts are Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim. The warning for Selangor applies to Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling and Hulu Langat.
