The joint operation with JPJ officers from Terengganu and Pahang involved 37 enforcement personnel.
Its director, Mohd Misuari Abdullah, said the operation aimed to ensure compliance with road laws among private and commercial vehicles crossing state borders.
A total of 386 vehicles were inspected across key routes linking the three east coast states.
Enforcement action was taken against 68 vehicles following these inspections.
In addition to the summonses, the department served 92 notices and detected 107 offences under various transport acts.

There were 112 such cases detected during the operation.
This was followed by 34 cases of expired or missing Motor Vehicle Licences (LKM).
Another 18 cases involved a lack of valid insurance coverage.
Nine vehicles were seized under the Road Transport Act 1987.
Three tipper lorries were seized for having expired LKM and insurance.
Two clone vehicles, a Honda Jazz and a Suzuki Swift, were also impounded.
A further three tipper lorries were seized for exceeding their maximum permissible load by over 50%.
