The Ministry of Works wins three awards for bureaucratic reform, aiming to enhance public service delivery and rebuild trust.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Works (KKR) is set to boost its public service delivery following three awards for its Bureaucratic Red Tape Reform Projects (RKB), aiming to drive a greater impact for the nation and its people.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the recognition belongs to the entire team, praising the ministry’s staff for their commitment and hard work in delivering their best.

He also stressed the need for a ‘Public Transformation’ mindset in daily operations, urging staff to constantly find ways to streamline work, accelerate service delivery, and rebuild public trust in state institutions.

“I would like to extend my appreciation and congratulations to the entire KKR team for the remarkable achievement of receiving three prestigious recognitions,” he said in a post on X.

KKR received the Certificate of Recognition for a High-Potential Project under its 2025 RKB for its project titled ‘Enhancing the Efficiency and Accountability of Road Data Management in Malaysia’, spearheaded by the Policy and International Division.

Another recognition was the Certificate of Recognition for a High-Impact Project titled ‘Accelerating the Approval Process for Overseas Factory and Product Verification Reports’, undertaken by the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia.

The ministry also earned the Chief Secretary to the Government’s Special Appreciation Certificate for completing the highest number of RKB projects, delivering 15 since 2024.
