Malaysian travellers to India must now complete a mandatory e-Arrival Card online at least 72 hours before departure
KUALA LUMPUR: The High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi has issued a mandatory travel advisory for citizens visiting India.
All Malaysian travellers, including Overseas Citizen of India cardholders, must now submit an e-Arrival Card at least 72 hours before departure.
The application must be completed online via the official Indian government portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/.
Travellers are advised to keep a digital or printed copy of their e-Arrival confirmation for their journey.
“This requirement is in addition to valid visa and travel documents,” stated the High Commission in its announcement.
The advisory was posted on the mission’s official social media accounts to ensure wide dissemination.
Malaysians are urged to check the latest travel regulations before any trip to India.
For the most current guidelines, travellers should refer directly to the relevant Indian authorities.
