Pahang Sultan and Tengku Ampuan offer condolences for Bung Moktar’s passing

The Sultan and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang extended condolences to the family of late MP Bung Moktar Radin, who died in Kuantan at age 66

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have extended their condolences over the passing of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin.

Their Royal Highnesses conveyed the message via the official Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page.

They prayed for the bereaved family to be granted strength in facing the decrees of Allah SWT.

The royal couple also prayed for the late Bung Moktar’s soul to be blessed and granted a place among the beloved servants of Allah.

Bung Moktar, 66, died at a private hospital here at 1.46 am this morning.

His passing was confirmed by his son, Naim Kurniawan Moktar.

His remains were taken to the family home in Luyang before funeral prayers were performed at the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque.

He was buried at the Kampung Likas Cemetery after Friday prayers.

Bung Moktar, who was the Kinabatangan MP, had just retained the Lamag seat in the 17th Sabah state election on Nov 29. – Bernama
