RON97 and non-subsidised RON95 increase by two sen, while diesel in Peninsular Malaysia rises by four sen for the week of Jan 22-28, 2026.
KUALA LUMPUR: The retail price of RON97 petrol will increase by two sen to RM3.10 per litre from January 22 to 28, 2026.
The price of non-subsidised RON95 will also rise by two sen to RM2.54 per litre for the same period.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will be raised by four sen to RM2.88 per litre.
Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The retail price of subsidised RON95 petrol under the BUDI MADANI scheme is maintained at RM1.99 per litre.
“The government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people continue to be safeguarded,” the ministry said in a statement.
