Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says the unity government has provided Sabah with the most aid and largest allocations for school construction since taking power.
SANDAKAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim declared that the unity government led by Pakatan Harapan has channelled the most aid to Sabah and its people.
He stated that throughout the Madani Government’s administration, Sabah has been among the states receiving the largest allocations for constructing various facilities, including schools.
Speaking at a youth meet-and-greet session in Kampung Sim Sim, Anwar acknowledged it is acceptable for people to be angry or critical due to ongoing struggles.
However, he urged the public not to claim the government hasn’t helped, asserting that PH has assisted Sabahans the most.
He specifically asked for support for PH candidates Vivian Wong Shir Yee in Elopura and Tang Szu Ching in Tanjung Papat during the state election.
Anwar emphasised that Sabah needs a stable government supported by a stable federal government.
He called for cooperation between both governments to ensure state development and public well-being.
The Prime Minister also guaranteed that the demand for 40% of Sabah’s revenue would be resolved.
He committed to fulfilling this promise, contrasting his administration’s approach with previous governments.
