KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup has been appointed as Malaysia’s new Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability.

The 43-year-old Pensiangan MP and Sook assemblyman assumes the crucial portfolio following a Cabinet reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws specialising in International Trade from Bond University, Australia.
