Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim starts two-day Sabah working visit with youth dialogues, community engagements and election campaign events.
KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived here today for a two-day working visit to Sabah ahead of the state election.
His aircraft landed at Kota Kinabalu International Airport in Tanjung Aru at 1.45 pm.
Today’s schedule includes a youth dialogue at the International Technology and Commercial Centre Penampang.
He will also attend the Ziarah Kasih programme in Kampung Duvanson, Putatan and visit Kampung Petagas fire victims.
Evening events feature a dinner with Kota Kinabalu’s Chinese community and campaign talks at multiple locations.
Tomorrow includes meetings with Tulid community leaders at Kampung Menawo Ulu, Keningau.
Another engagement is scheduled at Dewan Datuk OKK Sanggau Jalang in Tenom’s Melalap constituency.
The Election Commission set polling day for November 29 with early voting on November 25. – Bernama
