Putrajaya MRT line service disruption ongoing with free shuttle buses provided and alternative routes recommended for passengers.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Putrajaya mass transit train (MRT) line has been disrupted following ongoing signal system upgrade works.
Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd confirmed its technical and engineering teams are working diligently to restore service operations as soon as possible.
Forty free shuttle buses are being provided to operate continuously between Kwasa Damansara Station and Putrajaya Sentral to facilitate passenger travel.
Rapid Rail recommends passengers use alternative services such as the Ampang or Sri Petaling Line and Monorail for those at Titiwangsa MRT Station.
Passengers at Ampang Park and Persiaran KLCC MRT Stations are advised to use the Kelana Jaya Line.
Those at TRX MRT Station are encouraged to use the Kajang Line instead.
Passengers at Chan Sow Lin and Sungai Besi MRT Stations should take the Ampang or Sri Petaling Line.
Travelers continuing to Kuala Lumpur International Airport should use the Ampang or Sri Petaling Line to Bandar Tasik Selatan Station.
They can then board the Express Rail Link from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan to reach the airport.
Passengers in the city centre can continue using the ERL service from KL Sentral to KLIA Terminal.
Trains will be manually operated between Kwasa Damansara Station and Putrajaya Sentral during this period.
They will stop longer at each station to ensure safety and smooth travel.
Auxiliary police personnel and station staff have been placed on platforms and concourses to assist passengers as a precautionary measure.
Rapid Rail advised passengers to refer to Rapid KL’s social media pages for the latest service status updates.
