The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission sets up a network monitoring centre to handle complaints during the Johor state election period.
JOHOR BAHRU: In conjunction with the 16th Johor state election, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has activated its Network Monitoring Centre to receive and coordinate complaints related to communications and multimedia services.
In a statement today, MCMC said the public may lodge complaints regarding mobile network and internet coverage, the quality of telecommunications services, and service disruptions.
Complaints on online content, including issues related to race, religion and royalty (3R), impersonation, scams, content that violates the law, and other matters under MCMC’s jurisdiction may also be submitted.
“MCMC greatly appreciates feedback from the public to help ensure communication services remain at their best throughout the state election period,” it said.
Complaints may be lodged by contacting the MCMC Network Monitoring Centre at 07-3658031 or 07-3658032, via email at [email protected], or through the MCMC complaints portal at https://www.mcmc.gov.my/ms/make-a-complaint/make-a-complaint.
Polling for the Johor state election is on July 11, with early voting on July 7.
