JDT extend Super League winning streak with 5-0 victory over TFC

JDT secure ninth straight Super League win with a 5-0 thrashing of Terengganu FC, featuring a Jairo Da Silva second-half hattrick.

KUALA NERUS: Johor Darul Ta’zim extended their Super League winning streak to nine consecutive victories with an emphatic 5-0 win over Terengganu FC at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium tonight.

The match featured a personal hattrick by substitute Jairo Da Silva, who scored JDT’s final three goals in the 63rd, 70th, and 76th minutes.

League leaders JDT had already established a comfortable 2-0 lead during the first half through Bergson Da Silva’s fourth-minute opener and Romel Morales’ 30th-minute finish.

JDT maintain their position at the top of the Super League standings with 27 points following this comprehensive victory.

Terengganu FC remains in fourth place with 13 points from eight matches after suffering this heavy defeat. – Bernama
