Kelantan Red Warriors FC aim for consistent performances to secure promotion to the Super League, with their president warning against complacency after a crucial 4-0 win
KOTA BHARU: Kelantan Red Warrior FC (KRW FC) have been warned against complacency in their push for Super League promotion. Club president Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun stressed the need for consistent performances to achieve their target.
“Every remaining match is important and the players cannot take things lightly,” he said in a statement. “We need to maintain this momentum to stay competitive.”
The warning follows a convincing 4-0 win over Manjung City FC in the A1 Semi-Pro League. That victory lifted the Irfan Bakti Abu Salim-coached side to sixth place with 41 points from 23 matches.
KRW FC are now just two points behind fourth-placed UM-Damansara United FC. They also hold a game in hand over their rivals.
Muhamad Zaki highlighted the vital nature of their upcoming fixture. The team’s next match against Armed Forces FC this Saturday at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium will be crucial for their promotion hopes.
