The Hong Kong Slam will conclude the 2026 PPA Tour Asia season with a record USD 1.1 million purse and a chance for amateurs to play on the same courts as the pros.

THE city will host the biggest professional pickleball tournament ever staged in Asia as the blockbuster finale to the 2026 PPA Tour Asia season.

Organisers have confirmed the Hong Kong Slam will take place from October 19 to 25 next year, featuring a professional prize purse of up to USD 1.1 million and offering 1,500 PPA ranking points.

The event will be the tenth and final stop on a newly revealed ten-tournament calendar spanning seven markets across the region in 2026.

PPA Tour Asia’s unique ‘Play Where the Pros Play’ experience will also allow amateur players to compete on the same courts in various age and rating categories running alongside the professional competition.

The Hong Kong Slam represents the only opportunity for players to complete the full set of 2026 tour medals by claiming the final “roaring dragon head” piece of the season’s interlocking hardware.

Managing Director of UPA Asia Kimberly Koh stated that the calendar reflects the incredible growth of professional pickleball across the region.

“We’re expanding into new cities and bringing the PPA experience to more players — both Pros and Amateurs — across the region,” Koh said.

She added that with top stars, passionate fans, and world-class entertainment, the Hong Kong Slam is the perfect finale to a landmark year for the sport.

The 2026 season will commence with the MB Hanoi Cup offering USD 300,000 in prize money from April 1 to 5.

Other confirmed stops include the Kuala Lumpur Open in May, the Macao Open later that month, and two separate China Open events in June and August.

The tour will also visit Tokyo, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City before a second Malaysian event, the Kuala Lumpur Cup in September, leads into the grand finale in Hong Kong.
