TWO long-time Sports Toto players have seen years of regular play pay off in spectacular fashion, collectively winning more than RM15.3 million in jackpot prizes across separate draws in late May and June 2026.
The first winner, a 62-year-old retired salesman from Perak, walked away with RM11.8 million after winning the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 draw on 31 May 2026. His winning ticket formed part of a total jackpot pool of RM12 million.
A loyal player for more than 30 years, he had typically spent between RM10 and RM20 per draw. His winning numbers, “1660” and “5093”, were derived from the birth certificate numbers of his two grandchildren.
“My grandchildren have brought so much joy and happiness to our family, but I never imagined they would one day change our lives in such an extraordinary way,” he said.
He described the moment he discovered his win as overwhelming and said he repeatedly checked the results before confirming it with his family.
When asked about his plans, he said he intends to manage the winnings prudently, prioritising his family’s long-term financial security and his grandchildren’s future.

His ticket, purchased for just RM2, yielded RM11,806,469.85. The remaining portion of the jackpot, RM195,148.20, was won by a Kuala Lumpur player using an i-System ticket.
In a separate draw, another retiree, a 65-year-old former construction worker from Penang, won RM3.5 million in the Star Toto 6/50 Jackpot 1 on 10 June 2026.
A regular player for years, he said he had made it a habit to check his Lucky Pick tickets on the Sports Toto mobile app before going to bed.
“I checked the numbers many times. The first thing I did was wake my wife up and ask her to verify the ticket because I thought I might have been seeing things,” he said.
His winning combination of numbers — 3, 8, 11, 25, 38 and 42 — secured him a total payout of RM3,499,722.25.
He said the win would provide greater financial comfort in retirement and confirmed that he and his wife plan to place the money in fixed deposits and live off the interest for daily expenses.
“My wife and I have discussed our plans carefully. We intend to place the money in fixed deposits and use the interest income to help support our living expenses and retirement needs,” he added.
