MILO Malaysia Breakfast Day 2026 targets 70,000 participants nationwide

The MILO Malaysia Breakfast Day (MBD) 2026 will kick off in Kota Kinabalu before continuing to Kuala Terengganu, Kuching, Kuantan, Kota Bharu before ending in Putrajaya.

PETALING JAYA: MILO Malaysia Breakfast Day (MBD) 2026 is set to return with a nationwide campaign expected to attract more than 70,000 participants across six states.

The annual initiative aims to encourage healthier lifestyles while reinforcing the importance of breakfast and good nutrition as part of an active daily routine.

This year’s campaign will kick off in Kota Kinabalu on May 24 after receiving a fully sold-out response, before continuing to Kuala Terengganu, Kuching, Kuantan and Kota Bharu.

The event will culminate in a grand finale in Putrajaya on July 12.

Registration opened on April 13, with organisers encouraging participants to secure their slots early.

MILO Malaysia business executive officer Ng Su Yen said the programme reflects the brand’s commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and nutrition among Malaysians.

“As Malaysia’s most-loved homegrown beverage, MILO continues to play an active role in nourishing Malaysians and supporting communities in leading healthier, more active lives while reinforcing the importance of building healthy habits every day,” she said.

Capturing memorable moments together while enjoying breakfast and MILO® goodies at MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day. 

Since its introduction in 2013, the event has brought together more than half a million Malaysians through activities centred on nutrition, fitness and community engagement.

Participants can look forward to a 3km run available at all locations, making it accessible for families, children and first-time runners. The Putrajaya finale will also feature a 5km category.

Apart from the runs, attendees can take part in group workouts, sports challenges, games and interactive activities designed to encourage active living and family bonding.

Participants will get the chance to enjoy  their favourite cups of MILO® as they recharge after the morning activities.

The event will also feature the return of the MILO Goodness Truck, offering visitors an immersive experience showcasing how the beverage is made while highlighting the brand’s history and values.

Friends of MILO, including Nadhir Nasar and Erysha Emyra, are also expected to participate in the campaign.

Organisers said the initiative aims to further strengthen community engagement through nutrition awareness, active lifestyles and togetherness nationwide.
