IF one day, you discovered that your spouse disliked doing chores such as laundry and cooking, would you leave the marriage or would you hire a maid?
One man in Indonesia, upon discovering that his wife did not like doing the housework, took the extra step by ‘returning’ her to her mother.
In the TikTok video which has since gone viral, the frustrated husband could be seen sending his wife back to her mother.
“She can’t cook, she can’t do the laundry, she’s only good at online shopping,“ the man complained.
“I regretted marrying her,“ he continued muttering, adding that all she ever did was shop online and that he has spent so much money on the marriage and now has no clue what was the point of the marriage.
The man once more vented his annoyance and fury at his wife before they parted, saying,
“I have given you back to your mom! I have no idea why I married a person who was incapable of doing housework! I gave everything I had, but I received nothing in return.”
Additionally, he blamed his mother-in-law, claiming that she had not taught her daughter any valuable lessons about being a good wife.
Thankfully, the mother-in-law struck back, informing the man that he isn’t wed to a maid. “It was improper of you to handle my daughter like a servant! Well, at least she’s beautiful!”
She then questioned the frustrated husband why the subject of housework only became a dealbreaker after they were married.
“When you two were dating, everything was good. Why is everything different now? Is my daughter really supposed to be your servant?”
But the man stood by his choice, claiming that his wife’s good looks had not made housework easier for her.
