M’sian discovers her car was scratched in Bukit Bintang after she refused to pay person who threatened her

ULAT parking’ is a common sight in Malaysia, and let’s be honest, many of us have run into these illegal parking attendants who guide vehicles into parking bays and expect “payment” in return. Many times, we pay these folks out of desperation for a parking space.

Recently, a Malaysian woman @ballerina391, took to her TikTok to show how her car was scratched after she had parked her car in Bukit Bintang and refused to pay someone for the parking spot.

In her video, @ballerina391 wrote, “Please help viral this video guys.”

“This is the Maybank Bukit Bintang area. They threatened me for not paying them for the parking spot. Look at what has happened to my car.

They even claimed that all the parking spots there are theirs, and as they please, they put a price of RM15 for each parking space.”

In the video, a long scratch could be seen on her car.

In her comment section, many netizens shared their woe of having to deal with these illegal parking attendants.

“I was forced to pay RM20 for a parking space at Jalan Alor on one weekend. I didn’t want to pay but I had no choice. In my heart, I was very frustrated,” commented one netizen.

“I was once charged RM10. Even so, I was very frustrated with my husband for paying the person such a huge sum. Then only, my husband explained to me that it was better to pay than to get the car tyre punctured or car scratched. Only then I understood,” said another.
