ANIMALS are our social companions. Loving, loyal and constantly at our side, animals deserve to be treat with kindness and compassion.

A woman by the name of Zenise recently wrote a widely liked Facebook expressing her feelings about the City Council’s denial of responsibility, for her pet dog’s whereabouts.

She allegedly left KL and raced home to Bera, Pahang, where she spent the entire day searching for her dog after the City Council’s dog catchers denied any involvement in the incident.

“One of the dog catchers told me that my pet dog was left in a garbage dump,“ the woman claimed.

Zenise hurried to the scene after asking the man for the precise location of her dog, but what she encountered was totally heart-breaking.

To her horror, what greeted her was the brutal sight of her dead dog lying amongst a pile of other animal corpses.

Additionally, according to the woman’s voice notes, the dog catcher told her that her pet dog was merely abandoned at the landfill and not put to death.

However, Zenise’s reality was completely different.

“How had my dog behaved? Why did you murder the defenceless dog? How come you didn’t give me more time to retrieve my dog?”

World of Buzz reported that the woman in question made the decision to have a friendly meeting with the district City Council to discuss the outcome of the negotiation, including the points of agreement that both sides were able to reach.

In order to prevent a repeat of the current situation, the City Council has decided to give one month’s notice prior to initiating any dog-catching operations.

1. Dog owners will have a minimum of two to three days to redeem their pets.

2. The City Council pledged to collaborate with locals who have stray issues.

3. The City Council will not begin dog-catching operations unless it receives complaints from the general public.

4. The City Council also recommends that owners tag their neutered dogs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Zenise during this difficult period. Furthermore, we ask all dog owners to exercise extra caution to prevent such incidents from re-occuring.
