AN absurd scene showing a couple attempting to dry their mattresses in a laundromat drew attention online recently.
Posted on X by user @Cool_Wannabe82, the couple brought in two single bed mattresses to a laundromat to dry them, only to find out that both mattresses cannot fit into the laundromat machines.
Refusing to give up, the man and woman in the video were then seen rolling both a green and white mattress before attempting to stuff them into the dryers. Unfortunately, the mattresses were too long for the machine and stuck out awkwardly.
The couple seemed “at their wits end” at the end of the video, with the woman scratching her head probably wondering how to accomplish this task.
Netizens were needless to say, peeved at the couple’s actions that lacked common sense.
“The blind leading the blind,” a netizen commented.
Other commenters pointed out that the couple’s actions could have damaged the machines, greatly inconveniencing the laundromat owner and encouraged the owner to “sue” the couple if the machines were found damaged by their actions.
