AMERICAN musician Travis Barker has revealed another health issue that might jeopardise his ongoing tour. On the evening of Friday, Sept 23, the renowned drummer from the iconic band Blink182 posted a photo of a positive at-home Covid test on his Instagram story.

The confirmation of his virus diagnosis was accompanied by emojis expressing illness: Although the 47-year-old didn’t provide additional details about his condition, it seems Barker will have ample time to recover before the band’s upcoming show.

The band is on a short break until Oct 2, when they are scheduled to perform in Lisboa, Portugal. Following their performance at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Oct 22, the band will head home and won’t be back on the road until February 2024.

Meanwhile, Barker’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, has not made any comments regarding his health yet. She is currently at home in Los Angeles. However, the hurdles Barker faced weren’t confined to his recent health scare.

At the start of the month, Blink182 postponed the initial dates of its European and UK leg of the world tour due to an “urgent family matter” affecting Barker. Later, it was disclosed that Kardashian needed immediate foetal surgery due to a pregnancy complication.

The Poosh founder then shared on an Instagram statement, “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband, who rushed to my side from the tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards. And to my mother, thank you for holding my hand through this.”

The Rock Hard Tour is set to wrap up in late October with two major performances at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. In February 2024, Travis and his bandmates will kick off a journey through Oceania, followed by ventures into Latin America. Their worldwide musical adventure will come to a close in Mexico on April 6.
