TRAVELLING is undoubtedly a fun, exciting experience but it’s always important to keep an eye on one’s belongings.

According to a report by Actu17, a Malaysian tourist who was staying at a luxurious hotel in Paris discovered that her diamond ring, which costs a whopping 750,000 Euros (RM3,778,363.85), had vanished from her room.

The diamond ring was allegedly left on a bedside table in the hotel room that the Malaysian entrepreneur allegedly booked into on Thursday (Dec 7), after arriving in one of the area’s most elite neighbourhoods.

As she got back from her shopping excursion at 11:30 a.m. the following day, she found that the ring was missing.

When she called the police later that night to report the event, they came to her hotel room to collect some first evidence for their investigation.

The misplaced diamond ring was finally located inside a vacuum cleaner bag by hotel security and was quickly given back to its rightful owner.

In fact, only last week, a similar incident happened to another Malaysian couple who became victims to a theft during their vacation to Paris.
