Da Ma Cai awards RM36.81mil in jackpots during January 2026

Twelve winners became millionaires as Da Ma Cai distributed over RM36mil in jackpots ahead of Lunar New Year

A wave of lottery fortune has swept across Malaysia as Da Ma Cai distributed more than RM36.81 million in jackpot prizes throughout January, creating multiple millionaires just as the country prepares to celebrate the Year of the Horse.

The remarkable winning streak began on January 17 when 12 fortunate participants collectively claimed over RM28.54 million from the 1+3D Jackpot 1 prize pool, instantly transforming them into millionaires. An additional RM1.94 million was awarded through the 1+3D Jackpot 2 on the same date.

The momentum continued on January 25 with another RM1.29 million distributed in 1+3D Jackpot 1 prizes. Just three days later, on January 28, two dmcGO account holders jointly secured a substantial RM5.02 million from the 1+3D Jackpot 1.

One winner from Balakong, Selangor, who claimed RM2.42 million, shared his extraordinary experience of discovering his life-changing win. The fortunate individual checked the draw results at home using the dmcGO mobile application on draw night.

“I joined casually, never expected it would actually be my turn. It is such a surprise,” he explained, describing his initial disbelief.

He recounted checking the numbers multiple times, convinced he had made an error. “When I finally confirmed the win, I didn’t shout or celebrate loudly. I just sat there, took a deep breath,” he recalled. “It felt unreal, like I was dreaming, until I called my family members over to check together and realised it was true.”

The winner, who purchased the ticket jointly with his siblings, revealed that the family had made a meaningful decision regarding the windfall. After several days of deliberation, they unanimously agreed to allocate the funds toward providing enhanced medical care and daily support for their mother, who is recovering from cancer and requires ongoing attention.

He described the timing as providential, explaining that his children are preparing to enter university while household expenses continue rising. Combined with his mother’s medical needs following cancer treatment, the financial responsibilities had become substantial.

“This money allows me to breathe a little easier and handle what needs to be done step by step,” he said.

The winner noted that he doesn’t participate in every draw, instead choosing to join occasionally when jackpot amounts reach higher levels, maintaining a casual “just give it a try” approach with his family.

The timing of these substantial wins coincides with LiChun, or the Beginning of Spring, which Malaysia observed on February 4. The traditional marker symbolises renewal and hope, adding symbolic significance to the jackpot distribution.

Da Ma Cai operates as a brand of Pan Malaysian Pools Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s authorized numbers forecast operator. Beyond gaming operations, the company maintains an active role in supporting educational and social welfare initiatives across the country.

Since 2011, Pan Malaysian Pools has functioned as a social business rather than a traditional for-profit entity. The organisation donates its net dividends to The Community Chest, a charitable organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting education for Malaysian communities.

The RM36.81 million jackpot distribution in January represents not only financial windfalls for individual winners but also demonstrates the potential for life-changing moments that can arrive unexpectedly.
