AGC tegaskan tidak rayu isu 40% hasil Sabah, terus rundingan

AGC kekal pendirian tidak rayu isu 40% hasil Sabah, fail rayuan hanya untuk kekhilafan Alasan Penghakiman, rundingan berterusan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Peguam Negara (AGC) menegaskan Kerajaan Persekutuan tidak merayu berhubung isu Pemberian Khas Sabah berdasarkan kadar 40 peratus hasil.

AGC akan meneruskan rundingan dengan Kerajaan Negeri Sabah secepat mungkin.

Pihaknya telah memfailkan Notis Rayuan di Mahkamah Tinggi Kota Kinabalu pada 13 November terhadap sebahagian keputusan mahkamah.

Rayuan tersebut khususnya membabitkan beberapa kekhilafan dalam Alasan Penghakiman oleh hakim.

Alasan Penghakiman berkenaan antara lain mendakwa Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri telah menyalahgunakan kuasa serta melanggar kewajiban Perlembagaan.

“Jabatan ini sekali lagi ingin menegaskan bahawa Kerajaan Persekutuan tidak merayu berhubung isu Pemberian Khas Sabah berdasarkan kadar 40 peratus hasil,” menurut kenyataan AGC.

Kerajaan Persekutuan akan terus memulakan rundingan bersama Kerajaan Negeri Sabah sesegera mungkin. – Bernama
