New single ‘Slow Burner’ previews Varitda’s upcoming album

Singer leans into restraint and late-night soul on new single

THAI artiste Varitda returns with her new single Slow Burner, a smooth late-night pop soul/R&B track that leans into patience, emotional restraint and the quiet tension of letting connection grow slowly over time.

For those who have chosen to let love unfold naturally instead of rushing to define it, Slow Burner sits in the space where nothing needs to be rushed and staying present is more important than figuring out what comes next.

Lyrically, it explores the idea of holding back just enough to let things breathe. Rather than pushing for certainty, the song embraces patience over pressure, finding beauty in emotional restraint and the slow build of connection.

Meanwhile, musically built on a laid-back, slightly swung groove, Slow Burner is unhurried and slightly suspended, as it moves with a subtle magnetism to carry listeners through a moment that feels intimate, reflective and emotionally honest.

An album preview

Slow Burner offers an early glimpse into Champagne Cherry, Varitda’s forthcoming London-made album created entirely in the UK and shaped by a cohesive production vision from start to finish.

All vocals across the project were recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, capturing an intimate and emotionally detailed vocal performance within one of the world’s most iconic recording environments.

Recorded, produced, mixed and mastered in London, the upcoming album carries a refined and consistent sonic identity throughout.

The A-side tracks were produced in the UK by acclaimed musician, songwriter, and producer Nick Tsang, whose credits include collaborations with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX and Jess Glynne.

Mixing across the project was handled by Charlie Holmes, known for his work with Olivia Dean, James Arthur and Anne-Marie.

Together, the UK-based production process gives the project an international sound that feels polished, confident and globally positioned.
