KUALA LUMPUR: RNG Tech Bhd, the operator of the Rest N Go brand of vending massage chair services, continues to strengthen its regional presence by rapidly expanding its operations in Thailand following the successful bids it secured for locations at Lotus Thailand and Big C Thailand in late 2025.
As of May 18, 2026, the group operated 1,818 vending massage chairs in Thailand, representing nearly a threefold increase from 609 chairs as at 31 December 2025.
Commenting on the Group’s expansion in Thailand, RNG Tech managing director Datin Sophia Tan Sok Fei said Thailand has emerged as one of the group’s key growth markets following the successful bids for Lotus Thailand and Big C Thailand secured in late 2025.
“Since then, we have been progressively rolling out our vending massage chairs across these retail chains, enabling us to rapidly expand our presence and strengthen our market position.
“The growth in Thailand reflects the scalability of RNG Tech’s technology-enabled business model, where a wider network of vending massage chairs across high-traffic retail locations provides a strong platform for revenue growth,” she said.
For Q1 ended March 31, 2026 (FY26), the group recorded revenue of RM16.9 million, while net profit amounted to RM3.4 million.
Notably, net profit for Q1 FY26 alone accounted for more than 50% of the group’s full-year net profit for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY25), reflecting a strong start to the current financial year.
In FY25, RNG Tech reported revenue of RM49.3 million and net profit of RM6.0 million.
The improved performance was supported by the growing contribution from its operations in Thailand.
Revenue from Thailand increased to RM3.7 million in Q1 FY26, representing 21.9% of group revenue and making it RNG Tech’s second largest market after Malaysia.
This marks a significant increase compared with FY25, when Thailand contributed RM2.7 million, or 5.4% of full-year revenue.
“The encouraging contribution from Thailand during Q1 demonstrates the earnings potential of our expansion strategy.
“With a population of approximately 71.6 million people in 2025, a vibrant retail landscape and strong consumer acceptance of massage services, Thailand presents a compelling long-term growth opportunity.
“We will continue expanding our footprint across strategic locations to further strengthen our regional presence,” Tan said.
In addition to Thailand, RNG Tech has an established presence across Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam, as well as licensing arrangements in Vietnam and the Philippines.
RNG Tech is scheduled to be listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on July 7, 2026.
