Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari visits Bernama’s Negeri Sembilan bureau, now serving as the operations room for state election coverage.
SEREMBAN: Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today spent time checking out the office of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Negeri Sembilan Bureau which is the operations room for the agency’s coverage of the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election.
Amirudin who is also the Pakatan Harapan (PH) election director, arrived at the Bernama office at 2 pm and was received by Bernama chief executive officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin and editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj.
Also present were deputy editor-in-chief of News Services Mohd Shukri Ishak and Negeri Sembilan bureau chief Nursyabiha Sukri as well as the agency’s top management.
At the session, Amirudin heard a briefing from Negeri Sembilan election coverage coordinating editor Mohd Hisham Abdul Rafar regarding Bernama’s news coverage operations throughout the polls which entered the third day of the campaign.
Amirudin is also scheduled to hold a special interview recording session with Bernama TV regarding the election developments.
The Election Commission has set early voting for the Negeri Sembilan polls on July 28, while polling day is on August 1.
