iCAUR Malaysia has expanded its electric SUV line-up with the launch of the new iCAUR V23, a model designed to strengthen the brand’s presence in the country’s increasingly competitive EV market. It follows the earlier arrival of the iCAUR 03, but this time the company is leaning into nostalgia, shaping its new C-segment SUV with cues from old-school off-roaders while pairing that look with modern performance and safety technology.
Despite its compact footprint, the V23 carries noticeably bold proportions. It measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase that gives it the stance of a true adventure-ready SUV, whether navigating the city or heading into rougher terrain.
Two powertrain choices are available. The rear-wheel-drive version uses a single motor producing 136 PS and 180 Nm, paired with a 59.9 kWh LFP battery. The more powerful intelligent all-wheel-drive model adds a front motor for a combined 211 PS and 292 Nm, supported by a larger 81.8 kWh NMC battery. Range remains a strong selling point for both, with the 2WD rated at 401 km on the NEDC cycle and the iWD stretching that to 501 km.
Performance varies accordingly: the 2WD completes the 0–100 km/h run in 11 seconds, while the dual-motor version drops that to 7.5 seconds. Both variants are capped at a top speed of 140 km/h.
Charging flexibility is another highlight. The 2WD supports DC charging at up to 85 kW, while the iWD boosts that to 104 kW. AC charging remains at 6.6 kW for both models. Owners can also take advantage of Vehicle-to-Load functionality, which delivers up to 3.3 kW to power small appliances, making the V23 a practical companion for camping trips and outdoor setups.
The SUV rides on a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear configuration, aiming to provide a stable and comfortable experience across various road conditions. Its design leans heavily into the retro theme with squared-off panels, pronounced arches, and minimal surface clutter. Wheel sizes differ between variants, with the 2WD sitting on 19-inch wheels wrapped in 255/55 R19 tyres and the iWD moving up to 21-inch wheels with 265/45 R21 tyres.
Inside, the V23 continues the blend of classic and contemporary. The tall roofline improves headroom, and the large windows help visibility. Old-school physical controls, including rotary knobs, are paired with modern equipment such as a 15.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 540-degree Transparent Chassis Camera, which provides a clear all-around view in tight urban spaces or off-road situations.
Safety comes through a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking, giving drivers added confidence on longer trips or daily commutes.
Ownership of the V23 is supported by the reliable comprehensive care that underpins all iCAUR models. This includes a seven-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and an eight-year or 160,000 km battery and drive unit warranty, and a battery replacement guarantee should the State of Health fall below 70% during the warranty period. The iCAUR V23 is priced at RM119,800 for the 2WD variant and RM132,800 for the iWD variant, with local deliveries beginning immediately.

Every purchase includes a complimentary 7KW AC charger worth RM3,400, offering customers convenient home charging from the very start.
To further elevate day-to-day usability, the package includes an auxiliary 6.86-inch instrument cluster unit valued at RM1,000. In addition, buyers will receive an extended battery, electric motor and power control unit warranty covering up to ten years or 200,000km.
