Perlis government will give a RM500 special payment to state civil servants next month, alongside a RM3.28 million salary restructuring.

KANGAR: The Perlis government will provide a RM500 special payment to state civil servants next month.

Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli said the payment recognises the service and dedication of civil servants.

“The state government hopes that civil servants will enhance their productivity, efficiency and quality of work in line with the improvements received,“ he said.

He stated this while tabling the 2026 State Budget in the State Legislative Assembly today.

Mohd Shukri added that the payment aims to encourage the best service to the people and strengthen government governance.
