Deputy PM extends birthday wishes to Selangor Sultan on 80th birthday

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi congratulates Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on his 80th birthday, wishing him continued health and a blessed reign

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has extended his congratulations to the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, on the occasion of the Ruler’s 80th birthday.

In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid prayed that Allah SWT grants the Sultan continued longevity, good health, happiness, and prestige.

He also wished that His Royal Highness’s reign remains blessed with enduring grace, honour, and wisdom.

Earlier, Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin arrived for the Selangor State Honours and Awards Investiture Ceremony.

The ceremony was held in conjunction with the Sultan’s 80th Official Birthday at the Balairung Seri, Istana Alam Shah in Klang.

They were accompanied by the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, and his consort Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz. – Bernama
