PM Anwar congratulates Selangor Sultan on 80th birthday

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim extended birthday wishes to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, who conferred state awards on 98 individuals

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his congratulations to the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, on the occasion of the Ruler’s 80th birthday.

In a Facebook post, Anwar also prayed for the continued good health and lasting well-being of Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, as well as the entire Selangor royal family.

In conjunction with the birthday, 98 individuals were conferred state awards and honours.

The investiture ceremony was held at Istana Alam Shah today. – Bernama
