Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission names Nik Mohd Noor Nik Kar as secretary and CEO, effective July 17.
PUTRAJAYA: The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has announced the appointment of Nik Mohd Noor Nik Kar as its Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, effective today.
Nik Mohd Noor brings extensive legal experience, having most recently served as a Head of the Classified Cases Section in the Civil Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers.
In a statement, the EAIC said he previously served in the Legal Division’s Contracts and Medical Negligence Unit from 2010 to 2017.
He has also held key positions as State Legal Adviser in Johor, Legal Director in the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Director of Sarawak Legal Aid Bureau, and Investigating Officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The commission said the appointment would ensure continuity in the EAIC’s administration and governance as it carries out its functions and mandate under the EAIC Act 2009.
The EAIC also expressed its appreciation to Asliza Ali for her commitment, leadership and dedicated service during her two-year tenure leading the commission’s administration since 2024.
