Johor’s revenue hits a historic high of RM2.67 billion for 2025, with funds allocated for development, public facilities and welfare initiatives.
JOHOR BAHRU: Johor has recorded its highest-ever revenue collection of RM2.67 billion for 2025.
Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced the historic figure, stating the funds will be channelled back to the people.
The revenue will fund state development projects, public facilities and welfare initiatives.

Onn Hafiz expressed gratitude to the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, for his support and guidance.
He also thanked the state secretary, executive council, assemblymen, civil service and all Johoreans for driving economic growth.
“My highest appreciation and gratitude also go to the state secretary, the entire state executive council, all assemblymen, the civil service, government agencies, government-linked companies and the people of Johor, who are the driving force behind this economic growth,” he said.
The Menteri Besar hopes the achievement will propel Johor forward in a more structured and competitive manner.
He said it will ensure a future of prosperity, progress and well-being for the state.
Onn Hafiz acknowledged there is still much to improve and pledged equitable use of the revenue.
“I am fully aware that there is still much to improve. Therefore, we remain dedicated to ensuring that revenue is utilised equitably for the benefit of more Johor residents,” he concluded. – Bernama
