GCB returns for good

FANS of the famous seasonal burger will be brimming with excitement since McDonald’s has decided to include their delicious mouthwatering Grilled Chicken Burger (GCB) to its permanent menu. Many will already be licking their lips at the prospect of savouring their favourite whole, tender chicken thigh, grilled to perfection, paired with char-grilled sauce on a bed of crisp iceberg lettuce, all nestled between two golden, warm and freshly toasted sesame seed buns … 365 days a year.
Since its introduction to the Malaysian palate in 2010, the GCB has appeared four times on McDonald’s menu but with a “limited time offer”.
“We listened to the high volume of requests from our customers and are delighted to finally introduce the GCB permanently on our menu. It now joins our range of great classics that Malaysians have come to know and love such as the McChicken, Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, Ayam Goreng McD and Chicken McNugget,” said McDonald’s Malaysia managing director Stephen Chew.
To celebrate GCB’s entry into the “hall of great classics” and main menu, McDonald’s is giving its customers a chance of walking away with a year’s supply of the burger.
Simply compile your GCB purchase receipts and stand a chance to win. The top five customers with the most number of GCBpurchases will win a year’s supply of the delicious treat. Contest details are available in store and online. McDonald’s GCB was made available in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia from April 7. It can be purchased a la carte or as a set that comes with French fries and a soft drink, priced at RM9.95
