JOHOR BARU: Police have crippled an illegal drug processing laboratory in Muar and seized 14.3 kg of ketamine with a street value of RM1.7 million.
State police chief Datuk Mokhtar Shariff told reporters here today police raided a house at Taman Kampong Tengah, Jeram, Muar, at 2.30pm last Sunday and found equipment for drug processing and RM69,000 in cash.
There were four suspects, three females and a male aged from 16 to 74 years old, in the house. Police have yet to determine if they are family members.
The raid follows two earlier ones where police crippled an illegal drug laboratory in Ulu Tiram and another in Labis in August and early last month, and seized drugs amounting to RM14.8 million.
