BNM: Zeti has not resigned

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has denied rumours that its governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz (pix) has resigned.
Zeti, who is part of the special task force investigating allegations against 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), was also rumoured to have suffered a heart attack and was hospitalised.
However, a BNM spokeswoman has denied both claims.
The rumours of Zeti's resignation started circulating after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak announced a Cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday.
