Malaysia condemns Baghdad bomb attack

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia condemns the terrorist attack in Karrada, Baghdad on July 3 which claimed 213 lives and injured 177 others.
Wisma Putra in a statement today said Malaysia regarded the act as inhumane, and hoped those responsible would be brought to justice.
It also conveyed the Malaysian Government's deepest sympathy and condolences to the Iraqi government and its people particularly the affected families and victims.
Wisma Putra said it would through the Malaysian Embassy in Amman, Jordan, continue to monitor the situation, and reminded Malaysians visiting Iraq to prioritise their safety, be mindful of their surroundings and to follow the advice issued by the Iraqi government.
