Amanah announces 13 candidates to contest in Johor

BATU PAHAT: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) has announced that 13 candidates will contest in Johor, namely in two parliamentary and 12 state seats in the 14th General Election.
Johor Amanah chairman Aminolhuda Hassan said two of the candidates were women.
They are Amanah women's wing chief, Anis Afida Mohd Azli who will contest the Parit Sulong parliamentary seat and Johor Amanah women's chief, Norhayati Bachok, for the Maharani state seat.
"Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayub will contest the Pulai parliamentary seat, as well as the Simpang Jeram state seat," Aminolhuda told reporters here today.
Meanwhile, incumbent Aminolhuda will defend the Parit Yaani state seat while Johor Amanah secretary Khairuddin A. Rahim will contest the Senggarang state seat.
Also nominated were Johor Amanah deputy chairman Dzulkefly Ahmad to contest the Kota Iskandar state seat while Johor Amanah vice-chairman Dr Sulaiman Mohd Nor will target the Kemelah state seat. — Bernama
