Asdion rises as much 4% even after UMA query

PETALING JAYA: Asdion  Bhd’s share price hit a high of 48.5 sen earlier before settling at 47 sen, continuing gains even after being slapped with an unusual market activity query by Bursa Malaysia.
Some 2.2 million shares were traded.
The company in its response said it sees no reason for the spike in investors interest, save for it actively exploring avenues to enhance its shareholders value, which includes seeking professional advice to deliberate various options available.
The loss-making group, which is principally involved in information communication technology and logistics business, saw its share price jump almost three fold in less than a month.
