NEW TO the cosmetic game, Ameera Khan or better known as Little Miss Khan as per her Instagram handle has made a name for herself with her unfaltering commitment and bold vision.
Despite her young age of 17, it hasn't stopped her from making headway in the fashion and beauty industries.
In fact, she is part of a larger movement that capitalises on social media reach with over 962 thousand followers on her Instagram into something big - LMK Cosmetics.
Surprisingly as it may seem, Ameera never dreamt of having her own makeup line, let alone her very first business venture to be one.
She said: "Believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of wearing makeup but I absolutely love collecting them.
"When I was 15-year-old, I posted a video of me buying 161 lipsticks in every possible colours and several eyeshadow palettes in a single purchase.
"The video caught on quickly and went viral on the internet.
"I've been hooked ever since; it's like a disease, an addiction and obsession towards collecting makeup, not necessarily use it," she explained.
Given that her family has long been in the business industry, it would make sense for her to be in it as well.
One day Ameera's mom gave her a suggestion, she said:
"Since you're so passionate about makeup, and with your numbers of followers on Instagram, why not use it as a platform to start a cosmetic line yourself?"
It took her two years to finally make it happened.
After endless meetings, and the trials and tribulations in getting exactly how she wanted her brand to be.
On May 8, Ameera Khan launched her very first brand LMK Cosmetics with five exquisite products to kick-start her beauty empire.
"I hope you guys love using them as much as I enjoyed creating them", she said in a video to her legion of Instagram followers.
Her cosmetics undertaking has certainly been the center of attention since its inception.
From collecting to creating makeups, it's clear that her passion for beauty is beyond skin deep.
There is no denying of her authenticity and capability as she continues to take her cosmetic line to a higher echelon, further defining herself synonymously to her brand.
She said: "I don't want LMK Cosmetics to be just another local brand, I want it to be me and about me, something different that the people are not used to."
Even the shade names basically describe herself as a person, she explained: "I was thinking of me when I came out with the names.
"My favourite shade names are my two blushers – Rich and Famous."
