Penang DCM 1 admitted for chest pains

KEPALA BATAS: Penang Deputy Chief Minister 1 (DCM 1) Datuk Ahmad Zakiyuddin Abdul Rahman was rushed to the hospital today after complaining of chest pain.
His special officer Muhasdey Muhamad said Ahmad was taken to KPJ Bandar Perda Hospital after an event at the federal building in Kepala Batas.
"He complained of chest pains while on his way to another event at the Kepala Batas Industrial Training Institute (ILP)", he said in a statement.
It was learnt that Ahmad now has been transferred to the General Hospital ICU unit and is believed to be in stable condition.
The first term assemblyman has been appointed as the new Penang DCM 1 after GE14 replacing Datuk Mohd Rashid Mohd Hasnon.
