Sultan Ibrahim visits Johor Royal Mausoleum in conjunction with Hari Hol

JOHOR BARU: Sultan Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar today visited the graves of members of the Johor royal family at the Bukit Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum, in conjunction with Hari Hol.
Sultan Ibrahim arrived at the mausoleum at 8.55am.
Also present were Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail, Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar as well as Tunku Aris Bendahara Johor Tunku Abdul Majid Idris Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
Others who were present included Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Osman Sapian, Johor State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani, state exco members, people's representatives, district officers and senior government officials.
Sultan Ibrahim visited the graves of his late father Sultan Iskandar Sultan Ismail, his mother Enche' Besar Hajah Khalsom Abdullah, and his son Tunku Laksamana Johor Tunku Abdul Jalil who died on Dec 5, 2015 from liver cancer.
In Johor, Hari Hol which is a day to commemorate the passing of previous Sultans, a practice which began in 1896, a year after the death of Sultan Abu Bakar. — Bernama
