(Video) Attempt to overtake in emergency lane ends in disaster

ANOTHER video clip of an accident caused by a reckless driver near Cheras has gone viral.
The 37s which was shared on Facebook by Darren Chong seems to be footages from a dashboard camera.
The video shows a relatively empty roads and as a white van appears to be on the slow lane, a black Proton Wira whizzes into frame.
The black car is speeding, and as it reaches the white van it tries to overtake from the left, swerving in the emergency lane.
His 'dare-devil' overtaking attempt fails, as the Wira clips the van causing it to flip and over turn.
The video has since been viewed 205,000 times and shared 1,142 times.
Netizens were fuming at the dangerous act which should have cause fatalities.
Chong said the van driver suffered cuts from broken glass and is recuperating well.
A police report has been lodged on the incident.
