Anwar mohon maaf batalkan lawatan Pahang atas nasihat doktor

Perdana Menteri terpaksa batalkan lawatan kerja ke Pahang kerana sakit belakang, menurut nasihat pasukan perubatannya.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim terpaksa membatalkan lawatan kerja ke Pahang yang dijadualkan hari ini menurut Pejabat Perdana Menteri.

Pembatalan saat akhir itu dibuat atas nasihat pasukan perubatan setelah beliau mengalami sakit belakang yang menyebabkan pergerakan terbatas.

Doktor menasihatkan Perdana Menteri untuk mendapatkan rehat yang mencukupi bagi pemulihan kesihatan.

Anwar memohon maaf setulusnya kepada rakyat Pahang yang telah bersiap sedia menyambut kehadiran beliau.

Beliau sepatutnya merasmikan Penutupan Karnival Hari Penjaja dan Peniaga Kecil 2025 di Temerloh hari ini.

Program Temu Anwar@UMPSA di Dewan Utama Kompleks Sukan Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah juga terpaksa dibatalkan.

Sesi ramah mesra bersama Penggerak Industri Kuantan di ADTEC Kampus Kuantan turut tidak dapat dilaksanakan.

Perdana Menteri baru sahaja pulang dari lawatan kerja ke Korea Selatan semalam.

Beliau mengetuai delegasi Malaysia ke Mesyuarat Pemimpin-Pemimpin Ekonomi APEC di Korea Selatan pada Jumaat lepas.

Sebelum itu Anwar mempengerusikan Sidang Kemuncak ASEAN ke-47 di Kuala Lumpur dari 26 hingga 28 Oktober. – Bernama
